(Okay, that's enough positivity. Back later with my usual gloomy-bitchy fare.)
Yay for exclamation points!
ReplyDeleteI turned in the grades for my course today and the pressure is finally off, the only remaining jobs the ones I actually love!
Excited for you about the writing residency!
Hooray for finishing classes! There won't be grading, thank god.
DeleteI love this! But I feel ashamed that I'm not familiar with those writers!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad - you've been in school! A quick primer:
ReplyDeleteGeorge R.R. Martin is the man behind the Game of Thrones books (officially titled A Song of Ice and Fire).
John Corey Whaley won the Printz Award for his book Where Things Come Back this year.
Insurgent is book #2 in a YA dystopia series.
City of Lost Souls is book #5 in a YA fantasy series.
So, aside from John Corey Whaley, whose book is realistic, I live in a YA Fantasy world.
Ooh, that helps. :) Gracias!
